Patrick began his actistic career as a printmaker and designer.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHe began carving wood in 1979 under the direction of Tony Hunt Sr. at the Arts of the Raven Studio and then joined Time Paul in 1984 to carve in Thunderbird Park at the Royal British Columbia Museum.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHe has had a long-term relationship with the Royal British Columbia Museum shop and galleries throughout the Northwest Coast\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3 style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThunderbird \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThunderbirds are the highest flying animals, and have a strong spiritual connection in Nuu-chah-nulth culture.
