The Leuchtturm1917 Paperback (B6+) notebook is available in both softcover and hardcover versions, with the primary difference being the flexibility and weight of the cover and the number of pages. Both versions share the majority of the brand's signature internal features.

The Outlines notebook also features useful details such as a world time map and a conversion table for international units of measure. It has 89 pages of 150 g/m² nautical chart paper. The soft yet very durable and water-repellent cover makes the Outlines notebooks virtually indestructible. Whether you happen to be out in the rain or in a storm, whilst sailing, hiking, fishing or gardening, down at the beach or up in the mountains – the Outlines notebook still proves its worth whatever the weather throws at you.

Both the softcover and hardcover B6+ notebooks come with the following features: 

• Size: Paperback (B6+) format, measuring 125 x 190 mm (approximately 5 x 7.5 inches), an intermediate size between A6 and A5, designed to be compact yet offer ample writing space.
  
• Paper: 80 gsm, acid free, ink proof paper that is slightly chamois colored to improve readability.
  
• Binding: Thread bound spine that allows the notebook to lay completely flat for ease of writing.
  
• Internal Organization: Numbered pages, a blank table of contents, and a set of self-adhesive labels for archiving.
  
• Additional Elements: Two ribbon page markers, an elastic closure band, a gusseted pocket in the back cover for loose notes, and 8 perforated and detachable sheets at the back.
  
• Ruling: Available in plain, dotted, ruled (lined), or squared formats.
