Midori 2027 Echizen Washi Calendar

Each sheet of this wall calendar is handmade from Echizen Washi, a Japanese paper tradition stretching back over a thousand years. Twelve months, twelve animals or traditional seasonal designs, each printed by silk-screen on paper made specifically for this calendar every year.

Echizen, a city in Fukui Prefecture, has produced washi paper for more than a thousand years. It remains one of Japan's most respected papermaking regions, and MIDORI commissions washi made specifically for this calendar each year, rather than sourcing from existing stock.
